Welcome!!
Hello and Welcome!
All of my artwork is available to order, just send me a note! Artwork that is already printed and ready to ship is available at my Etsy Shop, link to the right!
To get into the Holiday Spirit I decorate. I spend a couple weeks decorating. I have a few areas in my home where I can display an arrangement of decorations and Holiday items. I didn't have them before. Everything had to be out of the reach of little hands. Just wanted to share some pictures of the display on my front entryway stand.
I also started wrapping gifts and putting them under the tree. I Love the look of a Christmas tree with lots of wrapped presents underneath!
What do you do to get inot the Holiday Spirit?

Oh, pretty! Love that unique plate!
To get me in the mood, it's all about the tree first. Now that it's up, I'm slowly bringing a few more things home from the local thrifts. I won't be going hog wild this year, just desire more simplicity I think due to being so busy lately. But adding small things as I find them is pretty carefree.
Oh, and baking really gets me going too! But the tree has to go up before the baking. :)

I love your display of decorations. it looks fabulous. Now that my kids are grown I'm finding it harder ever year to get into the spirit. My duaghter has to come over and put the tree up for me or I probably wouldn't bother :)
What a great display to when entering your home. I like the variety and yet it goes together so nicely. I especially like the plate and the empty frame, I believe it is empty and overlapping the mirror? Love the interest it creates.
To get in the Christmas spirit, I start decorating my trees (I use five or so faux of diff. sizes) one by one. Also checking out my inspiration photos and back issues of holiday magazines.
I Love to hear how others start their holiday season. I always start with the tree also. This year I am not going overboard. I have always in the past done so much decoration . everything had something ... this year I am taking it easy and being kind to myself and just allowing myself to enjoy the holiday without trying to decorate every part of my house.
Happy Holidays!
